These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and purchases made with Love, Christie.
By placing an order or booking a mirror hire service, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Booking & Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking date.
The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 14 days before the event date.
For orders placed within 14 days of the event, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Payments can be made via bank transfer.
Prices are subject to increase but we will always honour the quoted price once a deposit has been paid.
2. Design Process & Approval
All mirrors include custom wording and hand-painted floral details.
We can personalise the design to any colour/theme, we are happy to discuss in depth prior to painting commencing.
We will confirm designs/themes/colours/spelling prior to painting.
It is the customer's responsibility to check all spelling, names, dates, and event details carefully.
Once approval has been given, no further changes can be guaranteed and additional charges may apply.
Love, Christie cannot be held responsible for errors approved by the customer.
3. Mirror Hire
The mirror and easel remain the property of Love, Christie at all times.
The standard hire package includes:
• One 70cm × 70cm personalised mirror
• Easel hire
• Delivery and collection within a 10-mile radius of Bridgend, South Wales.
The mirror must be kept indoors and handled with care throughout the hire period.
Customers are responsible for the mirror from the time of delivery until collection.
4. Delivery & Collection
Delivery and collection are included within a 10-mile radius of Bridgend,South Wales.
Additional travel charges may apply for locations outside this area.
Purchased mirrors can be posted within the UK for a flat fee of £20.
Delivery dates and times are agreed in advance but may be subject to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
Customers must ensure someone is available to receive deliveries or collections at the agreed time.
5. Cancellations
Mirror Hire
Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event date may receive a refund of any balance paid, excluding the deposit.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the event date are non-refundable.
Personalised Mirrors to Keep
Due to the bespoke nature of personalised products, cancellations cannot be accepted once design work has begun.
6. Returns & Refunds
As all mirrors are personalised to individual requirements, returns and refunds are not accepted unless the item arrives damaged or faulty.
If your mirror arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs of the damage and packaging.
Where appropriate, we will offer a replacement, repair, or refund.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
7. Damage, Loss & Liability
Customers are responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to hired mirrors during the hire period.
Charges may apply to cover the cost of repair or replacement.
Love, Christie reserves the right to invoice customers for damage beyond normal wear and tear.
Love, Christie accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage resulting from misuse, incorrect setup, or failure to follow care instructions.
8. Care Instructions
Mirrors must be:
• Kept indoors
• Protected from extreme weather conditions
• Positioned on a stable, level surface
• Cleaned only with a soft, dry cloth
Customers must not attempt to alter, repaint, or remove any design elements.
Glassware:
Important: Our glassware is designed for decorative or occasional use. To help preserve the hand-painted finish, avoid scrubbing or prolonged exposure to water. Not dishwasher safe.
9. Photography & Marketing
Love, Christie may photograph completed mirrors and use customer-shared images for marketing purposes, including on social media, the website, and promotional materials.
If you would prefer your images not to be used, please notify us in writing before your event.
10. Privacy
Any personal information collected through enquiries, bookings, or purchases will be used solely for fulfilling your order and communicating with you.

11. Changes to These Terms
Love, Christie reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
The version in effect at the time of booking will apply to your order.
